I seem to have accidentally deleted all the files on my sd card and in effect, co-pilot was removed. I have all the stuff like the 2577 folder and the installation file etc. on the computer. Can someone tell me how I go about installing it again? |

If you still have the CoPilot programme installed on your PDA then all you need to do is use the Wizard on the desktop CoPilot application to create the new files (including maps) on the SD card. Preferably using a card reader and not active sync. Once you reinstall the card and run it again all should work. |

No, it's not still installed on the copilot. Thats the problem. Everything in the storage card got deleted and the copilot software was removed from the pda. I need to transfer the 2577 folders etc. to the storage card but I'm not sure how to go about doing it.
Can anyone please help? |

If you run your Desktop Computer version of Copilot, you will find a Data Download Wizard with which you can create your new PDA version on your SD card. Basically, this involves selecting an area of map coverage that you want for Copilot on your PDA, then starting the download. At the appropriate stage, check "Create Quickstart" and that will place the programme files and 2577 folder on the SD card.
Once the dowload is finished, you can double tap the Copilot CAB file in the SD card's 2577 folder, which will instaLL Copilot afresh. Depending on how many files were lost from the PDA's main memory, you may or may not have to go through the registration process to regain access to the programme.
It will be much quicker if you download to a card reader rather than to the PDA. _________________ Dell Axims X50v & X30 (both WM 2003 2nd Edition). Copilot BTGPS3 and Fortuna Clip-on BT receivers.
