|
|
Hello
I am looking to buy TomTom Navigator 6 with a Bluetooth GPS unit for my new PDA but I am struggling to find anywhere that has it in stock - does anyone recommend somewhere to try?
If possible I would like it with the Western European maps included but if its just the GB Maps and the Major roads of Europe which seems to be standard on most of the packages then thats fine.
Kev. |

I have noticed that you can buy TT6 on Ebay under a 'Buy now' option which seem to cheaper than any of the other web sites I have seen |

I had looked at the TomTom website but their shipping times are excessive and I have little patience. |

I'd steer clear of ALL s/w on eBay - the chances of it being legit are close to zero |

I have brought S/w from Ebay several times and it has always been totally legal and cheap but I agree it is risky |

Agree with Planner2. I have bought software, including GPS, on E-Bay several times with no problems,

the problem with ebay is a good 70% of the sails are illegal copies that do not have avalid product code also you wount get any support or be entitled to any upgrades or discounts on map releases, also the plus services wont work. _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. kevdyas, I bought through TomTom direct, ordered Thursday and delivered the following Monday by UPS. They say allow three working days. Also you will find that you can choose which maps you want to load onto your PDA. You could have only GB or GB plus. You could choose to load any of the European maps individually or you could go for the seemless map of the whole of Europe which includes the UK. One thing to consider though is the size of the SD card you will require, if you go for the whole of Europe you will require a 1gig card, I have only loaded GB Plus and France and that requires about 435meg. The choice of what map(s) to load is entirely up to you. You make your choice from your PC through TomTom Home which is the first piece of software loaded from the DVD supplied. |

Alix776 - On ebay you can 'Buy it now' TT6 which contains the software, SD card, Wireless Bluetooth GPS Receiver, Car charger, A/C adapter, Installation poster, User manual CD, Quick start guide for £135 without the Wireless Bluetooth GPS Receiver is £67 and all seem to be the original packing. Are you saying that this could be Illegal because I am thinking of getting this? If so, why do you believe this? Have you personally experienced this or is it hearsay? Appreicated any inforamtion that you can provide? |
