ay one got f20 and got full post code to work mine goes red when trying to put last digits in for example b14 4sh wont go in it will on,y let me put in b14 4 if i try put the sh in it wont work
hence making it only 5 digit any one please help |

None of the maps I have, and I have plenty, recognise B14 4SH. I can locate B14 4SB and then nothing until B14 4SJ. I'd suggest that the postcode data itself is out of date. Can you tell us the street you're trying to locate?
I have had a brief play with the F20 and it did support 7 digit (why Navman call it 8 digit I'll never really know!) codes, I'm sure. _________________ Tim |

THAT POST CODE WAS JUST A EXAMPLE MATE I CANT GET LAST TWO LETTERS OF POSTCODE IN ONLY 5 DIGIT NOT 7 DIGIT |

Well then it would have been better if you'd given a working example, not a fictitious one. Also, can you turn your CAPS LOCK off, please? How are you putting the postcode in? Are you tapping Address, Postcode for instance? Are you leaving a space between the two parts? _________________ Tim |

got it sorted sent email to navman replied straight away just go into preferences then system then reset then reset all then when f20 restarts when comes to maps just press blue arrow dont change setting on map and worked so i have full postcode as for postcode it was just example mate so dont take so serious i clearly stated last two letters wouldnt work and i wouldnt use my own postcode ona public forums nor any one elses..so dont be so rude |
