i have not checked the western side of the M60 yet but between oldham and stockport the towers and cameras are up but not yet active

Just heard on local radio that this lot is going live on Monday 31/07/06 so you better be careful around there, they will be staying put until the end of October unless the work is delayed etc. Mike

They have just installed a whole load more of these contraptions on the M60 between the A34 turn off and the main Stockport junction, all 40 MPH.

As yet I suspect the installation is incomplete, but these are very new. It is possible to enter and exit the motorway without passing more than one camera as it currently stands. So they either have other plans on how this section will work or it means more cameras!.

I missed at least one of the damn things, so I might go back and try again tomorrow (two passes through a SPECS zone is only drawing attention to what you are doing)

Note these cameras are surrounded by the smallest yellow surround I have seen to date, so they are not as apparant to passing traffic, the majority are mounted to existing road sign gantries. If the Daily Mail is correct stay out of the middle lane
