Camera Locations

Sorry if this has been answered before but can someone please tell me how to enter a camera location as when i enter the co-ordinates i have into the google map they don't show in the correct place.

I have asked this question before in another forum which the only reply i've had was from "Strumble" who seems to be as confused as i was about it all.

I've also tried putting the location where i live in just to see if i was doing anything wrong and it shows me as living bang in the center of the crossroads either i am doing something very wrong or the numbers i'm being given from my satnav are way out.

Hopefully i'm in the right forum this time to find the answer if not can someone please tell me where i may find the answer to this problem.

So, what numbers are you being given from your satnav and how are you inputting them into the Google map?
