Hi There,
I have a 310d which i bought from Halfords, someone told me i can connect this to a laptop and you will be able to see the maps on the actual screen.
Is this true? and if so can you point me in the right direction?
Thanx in Advance |

The connection with the laptop is for software updates and uploads to your nuvi.
You should have received a DVD with full European mapping. This includes Mapsource software to view the maps and select which parts you want to store on your nuvi. |

Indeed - load the MapSource DVD onto your PC / laptop and you will have the same maps that are available on the Nuvi. |

Not with the Nuvi I'm afraid. But now that you have MapSource it's easy to connect "any" GPS to your laptop and have a moving map display. |
