I have released version 1.7 of the free TomTom menu designer for you to customise your menus.

This version has a few more icons for the x10 series, although not all icons are available for customising. Please read the FAQ (Frequently Answered Questions) section of the website...

Download from : http://www.gregoryduncan.com/ttmd/index.php

Thanks to everyone who has used the software and sent comments. Smile

You might want to add something to your FAQ Q4 if you can verify my experience.

- If you don't create ANY preferences custom menu (pnly main menu pages), the my TT1 V2 will use the default preferences menu with all its options available, but my custom main menu will still work.

- If I add the icon for turning my TT1 V2 off to the menu, selecting it crashesm my TT1

Oops. Just realised my first point was a feature you added in 1.5!

And thanks for continuing to develop this app.

Is it just me, or does this not work with .NET v2.0? I can't even get past the setup screen as it says I need to install an earlier version of .NET.

.NET 2 is not supported at the moment. I haven't installed the development IDE on to my PC yet because there have been lots of reports of issues... I'm waiting for SP1 until I install it - and it's been a while coming (unless I'm out of date)!

.NETv2 is not fully backward compatible with older versions, so that's where the problems are... However as far as I know and have seen, v2 co-exists peacefully with older versions, but that's not a guarantee from me for your particular PC!

Hi David

Is that the one labelled "Download Extras Menu", next to the "Keyboard Setup" - about 12th row down on the right if you haven't sized the window up...

I think it's the same, isn't it?

Hi Greg.

The Icon you are referring to is NEARLY the same, but on the 910, it is two pages and includes things like Read Inbox Messages, Safety Camera Warnings, Disable Wirelesss Data and most importantly, Download QuickGPSFix, which is recommended to be run once a week to speed up GPS acquisition.

Food for thought???

David
