Hi,

Does the PGPS speed camera database work with Navtech software. I am running this software on a XDA Mini S and it was bundled with the Belkin GPS receiver (same as Fortuna). I don't think I can upload database files into the POI section of the program but I was wondering if I can create a new file to overwrite the .BIN file which has the POI info with Camera location data. In theory I feel this would work as long as he formatting is the same but camera locations may flag up as petrol stations or something - would this be possible? has any one tried it? or is there already a solution for running the PocketGPS Camera Database on a PocketPC with Navtech maps???

Many thanks in advance

Navtech is the name of the map supplier. You need to find out the name of the sat nav software that is using those maps. Once you have that someone will be able to help you I am sure.

Hi

Its Belkin European Navigation Software:
http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=180833

It Came bundled with The Belkin Bluetooth GPS receiver and states Navtech On Board logo on the box. As mentioned the POI directory on my PC holds the data in .bin file format, so I was wonderin if I could manually add camera data to this file via MS Access or or create a new file in the same file format as the .bin layout and then just overwrite the original data, then upload new version to my XDA Mini S Pocket PC ??
