|
|
Hi All,
Is there an alternative to the sucker mount for the TT710.
I would prefer to have to TomTom off the windscreen, and heard that there is a vent mount.
Anyone point me in the right direction please. Also, if you have used said device, are they worth while?
Many thanks, Roystonb :D |

Hi
The market leader for Vent mounts is considered to be Brodit. But at the moment they have not yet come up with a suitable mount (due to the connectors etc). But as a temporary 'stop gap' there is a dealer on Ebay -Lindens - who sells a adhesive diks that sticks on the dashboard. With postage it only costs around £5, it works very well.
I mean. for five quid. who can be done?

I thought about this, but not really keen on having a sticky patch on my dash when i take it off.
I reckon the problem with a vent mount is the weight of the system.
Brodit will hopefully come up with a "side of dash" clip. |

Many thanks. I'll keep my eye out for a Brodit update. |
