Hi,

I returned my tomtom 510 for repair 3 weeks ago after finding the battery went flat after 2-3 days standing having been fully charged and not used. At first I thought it might be getting accidentaly switched on while I was driving, but after leaving it on my desk for 3 days again it went flat.

Tomtom have returned my 510 to me, but the fault is still present.

Has anyone else had this problem or a similar issue? Did tomtom rectify it?

Thanks
Adam

I can't say that I have Adam.

The GO is new to me but when I used TTN on my PDA if it was accidentally left switched on the system shut it down after a certain period.

I assume the GOs don't do this?

The GO's will normally last several weeks in a 'switched off' state.

There is some overhead, when switched off, with the Device ticking over in the background. I've never heard of any going flat in 2-3 days.

This time they have requested that I return my tomtom, the in car mount and home charger.
