Missing POI's

I just bought a disk which contains dozens & dozens of POI's. I have copied them all to the western_europe directory of my new GO 710 but they have not all come up. When I try to activate them they do not all appear in the POI list in order for me to check the tick box.
Can anyone offer any suggestions

What do you call 'dozens and dozens'?

There is a limit, in V6.xxx, of about 100 Custom POI.

Aha, perhaps that is the problem I think I have transferred about 150 POI's but as I say many are not visible on the list for me to tick.

I shall try removing a few & re installing some of the missing ones to see if this makes any difference.

I was wondering, if the ov2 file is a couple of years old could it be in a different format to that which the GO710 can read, or are all the ov2 files readable on all models.

Er now I see the list, yes some of them do appear to be the same.

There was no information re author etc. I bought the disk from a computer fair. (It cost £5:00)

There is a list of jeep & land rover dealers but the others that you mention are not on.

It also had some voice warning files for speed cameras, but they just made the tom tom lock up.

I suppose I should have realised that it was a bit iffy.

Is there any way to view what is listed in each POI.

I have just installed one for motorway service stations & I think it only has ones for the London area.

Can I do any kind of list view or is this not possible??

Any help appreciated.

You can view POI Files with POIEdit, from HERE.
