Looking round I am thinking of changing the Medion Navigator software on my Micromaxx MDPPC150 PDA. It seems there is a lot more that can be added then the Navigon software.....
Was looking at TomTom - now I see Version 6 is out - don't think I really need it etc etc. So was looking for a "cheap" (but legal) version of 5. I was hoping that with 6 coming I would see the retailers getting rid of their 5 software......
Any suggestions - I see on Ebay - sealed copies of 5 for about 30-40 quid - is that reasonable ???
Thanks in advance |

Just be careful.
With TT6 out I don't know for how long you will be able to register 'new' installations of V5 on www.ttcode.com in order to use it. It may be indefinitely but with TT who can tell. |

that is reasonable IMO if they are genuine packages.

Hi Pieman1972
Be careful when you buy a ‘genuine’ copy of TT5 off of Ebay etc. Way, way back when I built a computer for my son I brought a ‘genuine’ copy of Windows off of Ebay. It came on a Dell disk and a keygen on a floppy disk. I had paid half the price of windows if purchased from PC World etc but it was a con. I could have got a bootleg copy for nothing elsewhere.
Just remember, if you buy a ‘genuine’ TT5 off Ebay and the previous owner has already registered it then I am afraid that the chances of you being up the Swanny are rather high. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.
