Good news!
The plastic police can no longer moan and accuse people of theft when someone discusses TT6.
I hope it is not long now until they release the general version. |

What makes you think that? And more puzzling, what do you find wrong with the 'moaning and accusing'? _________________ Tim |

Yes it's discaceful isn't it. Fancy moaning about theft. After all its a free country and we should all be free to steal what we like. _________________ Peter

I totally understand you're point of view, and agree with it - but I can also understand people wanting to try this software before commiting hard earned cash.
With compatibility being such a problem and TomToms abuse line offering no help, buying any navigational software is a bit hit and miss and it's not exactly a cheap buy either
Just my humble opinion... sorry if it offends |

I have just ordered TomTom 6 on Mini SD for my Ipaq 2210 from easydevices. I'm aware its supposedly not yet compatible or tested, but a few posts on this site said it does work.
Still awaiting the despatch info from Easy devices however.
I also got an email from globalpositioningsystems that it is in stock with them as well.
Just the right timing as I was seriously contemplating ordering Route 66.
I want to order a bigger SD card, will I be able to use TomTom Home to backup the existing card and restore to a brand new card or will TomTom only work with the SD card it came with? |
