I can't get all of my downloaded voices to work, i think that i might not have enough memory on my Dell PDA (64meg).
Any thoughts or ideas, please
TIA

You will also need the Empty TomTom Folder as well, if you don't already have it.;)

Ok so here's whats been happen with my voices folder.
The voice folder has been on the PDA, but i have now put a Voice folder on the SD card and within the folder called TomTom.
I will delete the voices from the PDA, which in turn will free up more program memory.
How am i doing so far, anything else i need to do?

Cheers

Keith

Put the voices folder on the root of the SD card (I believe).

Well now i have no voices at, everything is greyed out when i go to select a voice. So what i've done is copy and paste one voice back onto the voice folder on my PDA, reboot and it works.
So why will it not work from my SD card?
TIA
Keith

There is one subtle difference in the folder name you are using relative to that listed by the other people involved in this thread, the folder must be called voices not voice

If you are wanting to add the folder go to File Explorer/ My Device then select Storage Card (it might be called SD card dependent upon the device). Now selct Edit from the bottom LH corner followed by "New Folder" type the name voices and you have the folder needed, now copy the voice files to the voices folder.

Do the same for the tomtom folder at the same time i.e. create it, don't put anything into the tomtom folder but it does need to be there - Mike - Mike

Hello Mike,
This is where i'm up to.
On my SD card in my tomtom folder i have a folder called voices but has nothing in this.
On the SD card i have a folder again called voices and in this is all of my voices.
Nothing works!!! everything is greyed out.

On my PDA in my program files there is a folder called Navigator any voice in this folder will work, but the more i pput in the more memory of my PDA i use up.

Any ideas

Keith

The voice files go into the voices folder on the SD card.
In the TomTom folder on the SD card there should be nothing, have you put the voice files into the voices folder on the SD card, AND created a TomTom folder on the SD card?
