Power charger For Tom Tom One

Can anyone point me in the right direction of a place were I can buy one of these from. Does it have to be an original or can something like a mobile adaptor work just as good?

I'd suggest you do a search of the forums for more info, but I use my Sony PSP charger for my ONE and it works perfectly.

It needs to be a 5v output, unlike many car adapters.

I have an ipaq charger and it works perfectly on my TomTom One

Maplin sell a three pin mains plug adaptor with 12v 1amp cigarette lighter output. Plug your car charger (5v 2amp) in and it works fine. Of course it wil lwork with any 12v car adaptor that draws less then 1amp as 12 volts.

I'm sure someone said you could get one from Argos, but can't find it now.... Still looking if anyone can point me in the right direction....
