This is my first Post, please excuse my stupidity I have posted this incorrectly.
I have a Garmin Nuvi 300, have been trying to store Speed Detector areas in the Londonderry, Northern Ireland district but so far, the unit accepts them, but when I go and check ie...pass the area, it doesnt prompt me, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, I hope I've explained this alright. Cheers friends... As far as I can tell, I'm storing data correctly. |

Hi Martih,
You will need to download a programme called EasyGPS from the web.
This allows you to extract your manually stored waypoints from your Nuvi.
You can then extract the latitude and longtitude data from this and save is as an excel .csv file.
Then use POI loader to upload back onto the Nuvi and it should work.
Example of longtitudue/latitude entry in excel is below.
-6.84458 54.90558 MOBILE:NAME@60
You can give the camera location whatever name you like where you see name in bold.
Have you seen many new locations in the area?? I'm from Belfast and have added 3 locations along the Glenshane in the past few weeks and I have also entered all of the new specs cameras at Newry.
If you need any further info send me a PM.
Cheers
Mussey1. |
