Original one or new one regional ?

Heres my dilema !
I want to use the alternative fixing pack so I can mount the unit on my Vivaro dash underneath the overhanging dash top so that it is, a- out of sight of prying eyes when parked, and b- still in reach/view for bluetooth phone use. (The unit will be left permanately fixed in with an external antenna).
PCworld are selling the original one for £199, whereas the new regional one is availble for the same price. Looking at the TT website though and an alternative fixing pack is not available.
Now is the newer better than the old one and if so, is it possible to canabilize the fixing kit for dash mounting the new one?

mmmm, like a fool I just noticed the one isn't a hands free phone unit
Bit misleading when you read it's got bluetooth, you just assume you can use your phone with it
So I guess it's the 510 or Garmin nuvi 310, but which one can be mounted on the dash ?

The TomTom 510 can stick to the dash but you would need one of those Disc's that stick on the dash, Not sure about Garmin.
