Static Navigation, resp. usability for geocaching - BT77

Hello,
I ordered one BT77 GPS Mouse, this http://www.pearl.de/images/large/pe4435_2_2.jpg


My question is: Is this good for geocaching, resp. is it possible to turn static navigation off?

If I recall correctly this device doesn't have a SiRF III chipset. So Static nav is not a worry.

The receiver is pretty bad actually when compared to the SiRF IIIs, but still good enough for geocaching.
