Hi Rob.
I've followed your tips for putting custom waypoints on the Q1 but i'm having a problem.
I've managed to put the symbols on the Quest but can't get them to show up in mapsource (v8)
I've renamed it in 'Custom Waypoint symbols' folder to 060.bmp but still can't see it on mapsource.
Size is 2k and 16X16.
Any ideas?
Thanks mate. |

Are you using the correct directory (under My Garmin\Custom whatever, don;t have Mapsource at hand here at work)? _________________ Robert Elsinga =8- )

Directory is :-
C:\Documents and Settings\Steve\My Documents\My Garmin\Custom Waypoint Symbols
'Custom Waypoint Symbols' was installed to this direcdtory automatically when I installed mapsource. |

That should be the correct directory for Mapsource. Mapsource is kind of picky in the names of the files though...
Since I'm not at home right now (again...), I can't verify the correct names right now. Please mail me tonight at robert at elsinga dot net, I can reply with a UK pstn (VOIP) number to call (if you want) or by mail. _________________ Robert Elsinga =8- )
