Dell Axim 51, TT5, Windows Mobile 5 Bluetooth GPS Problem

I am using a bluetooth GPS receiver with my dell axim running windows mobile 5 and tt5. I have paired the gps receiver and selected the correct Com port in tomtom ' show gps status / configure / other bluetooth gps', everything works OK.

When I close tomtom I loose my bluetooth connection to the GPS. When I restart TomTom the connection does not re-establish. I have to go into 'show gps status' click configure, select other bluetooth gps and then select the Com port again, after a few seconds the connection establishes.

How do I get the connection to establish when I start TomTom instead of having to configure the gps everytime?
