|
|
First of all hello everybody as this is my first post. Before flaming me for not searching , trust me i have been on here for over 3 hours trying to find my answers and im at breaking point so dont even try !!
First of all im loving my Nuvi 300 which i have had for 2 days now.I have done all the updates, POI , and speed camera installations ( after hours of hair pulling effort), but theres just a couple of things i need to know
1. Is there anyway of having the POI's ( Maccy dees, services etc) on screen all the time, as it is very handy for me as a fat gutted lorry driver to know the location of my next chicken sandwich. I ask this because when i first used the Nuvi i had pub icons etc on screen while navigatting but now i cant get any up at all.
2 . Is there any data i can download for low bridges on the Nuvi 300. I noticed one guy mention it but im not sure if it was on here or even works on the N 300 ??
I did have another question but my brain is so fried rt now ive forgot.
Any help would be extremely appreciated . Thanks |

Having POIs on the screen all the time is pretty difficult to achieve for non speed cameras.
As for the low bridge - get the file and see - if it's already in CSV format it should be possible to use, if it's in TomTom OV2 format, you'll need to convert it to CSV first. |

Actually, that's not true, I did try one that didn't claim Garmin compatability and that was because it didn't produce a CSV anywhere like the Garmin needed! |
