Getting close to purchasing new maps

Quick question: am I correct in the belief that if I order the WE maps from TomTom through Home, I'll get the latest version?

I've read in a post that 650 is the latest that someone has downloaded and I think that this is the same version as that on the 910? (All be it as individual countries and not one seamless map).

Any help/confirmation would be appreciated.

Only the 6** can be compared. TomTom use different numbers for different size maps of the same update.

There are strong rumours that a complete new set of discounted updates and full price new maps will be available soon. These should have more detail so that you can take advantage of the v6.15 software "extras" already on the 910 etc. Whether the maps will be any better is something we shall find out. But they they will have a "newer looking" version number!!

Thanks for the info.

Would be nice if TT were forthcoming with regards to dates, but we can't have everything.

I guess I'm gonna buy the maps I need then find that there's a new version out the following week.

Oh well.

Gonna have to bite the bullet soon.
