TomTom Home - at work......

Just thought i'd let you know that i sent the following question to TomTom recently :

My Question is about TomTom Home.
When I am at home, with no proxy server defined, TomTomHOME connects and logs in ok to your online service for updates traffic etc.
However when i am at work, and have to connect to internet via proxy server, tomtomhome is unable to login.
Why is this.
What ports or config information are required in order to make tomtomhome work.
Seems crazy as i can login to your website fine at work, but not when using the TomTom HOME app at work.

Here was their response :

Thank you for contacting TomTom Customer Support.

It will not work for you right now, because of the proxy. We are working on getting that fixed.
I am not sure how long that will be.

I have installed Home to start toying with it, and I had to uninstall it, as it conflicted with Mozilla Firefox and the all-important Biet-O-Zilla Firefox extension...

Now I am waiting to tell TomTom, but their on-line support service is off-line...

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
