Dave,
I notice you have added a section called Avantgo to your site. I use Avantgo and have several channels. It is excellent for downloading the latest news etc.
Can PocketGPS be found as a channel on Avantgo? If so where? :D |

Thanks for that, I have set up a custom channel and it appears to be working OK. I have set the link depth to 5 and allocated 500K but the sync history on avantgo still says I am exceeding the size limit on PocketGPS channel. I am still within my total allocation limit.
Any idea on what link depth and size I should use?
Thanks |

If you just want to read the news headlines and the main content for each news item then a link depth of 2 will be fine, I can't quite remember how AvantGo works if it treats a link between the first page and second page 1 link depth or 2, if it's 1 then you should be able to use a link depth of 1 unless you want to read the comments and this will start to increase the size of the channel because it will shunt you into the forums which are not formatted for AvantGo. |
