Can anyone help?
After watching and reading the forums on this excellent site i have become the owner of an i3.
I used the i3 in real anger for the first time this weekend, and due to multiple accidents on m5/m6 i wanted to navigate from j3 m5 to j14 m6 avoiding motorways, but when i tried to set my destination as M6 J14N, from my custom list the unit could not find it, it just listed the nearest so many. I know it is in the custom points as i have checked the .csv files i uploaded from MaFt's site, (very good guys, many thanks), but i just could not get it to work.
Any Ideas? |

When you search on Garmin units, it can either be 'nearest' or by 'name'.
You must have searched 'nearest'! |

Thanks, i can find no such function on the unit so when searching custom points, mway jns, i just get the nerest 50 ( i belive), which in most metropolitan areas is roughly 20 miles or so away. I have tried again from here in bristol and only get m4, m5, m32 despite typing M6 14N in the spell box.
Really annoying :x |

Just tried re naming the junction in the csv files but still wont find it no matter which way i search, Finds all of the services up that way, but no junctions. Yes i have checked that the junctions are downloaded and on the i3 as all of the junctions local to me show up.
Now really really annoying ![Evil or Very Mad](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_evil.gif) |

Find a location in the usual way (City, Address, My Favorites) and scroll down to 'Find Nearby'. _________________ Anita

3.20 seems to have sorted it. Seems ok to me have used 3.10, back to 2.70 now 3.20 seems less sticky and faster all around plus it lets me search mway junctions horay ![Laughing](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif) |
