|
|
Hi,
Been thinking of getting GPS with bluetooth & also get a new mobile phone. Does anyone know of any issue/problem if I buy the XDA II and then purchase tom tom software with a bluetooth option?
Has this been tried/tested yet?
Thanks,

I have no reason to believe it won't work, indeed T-Mobile Germany will be offering a BT GPS as an option.
The original XDA had some compatability issues with certain BT GPS receivers because of a bug in it's BT implementation but I understand this is not an issue with the XDA II.
And it goes without saying that if anyone wants to give us an XDA II we'll happily test all the software/hardware combinations _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi
As far as I know the XDA I did not have BT.
The XDA II does not currently work with any BTGPS device, please see elsewhere in this forum or ppcw.net or xda-developers.com for further details

I stand corrected I knew I'd read about BT Issues with the XDA but had it stuck in my mind that these affected the original XDA. Apologies for not having confirmed the facts chaps! _________________ Darren Griffin |
