But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Using an XDAIIi for the last couple of years using active sync 3.7 i think it was, (can't check for sure til i get home and look at disc)
Got myself a new XDA Exec which runs windows mobile 2005, it came with a new active sync CD version 4.0.
When i installed the new version it uninstalled the old. Now I can sync with the Exec but when I go to sync with the XDAIIi i get a connection error.

Hi, I'm no expert, but I think you'll find, you can only make a "Partnership" with one PDA and your PC, you can however set up a second Partnership as a guest. When you connect to the PC, with your PDA, the PC needs to know its your PDA its connecting to, otherwise everything on the PDA could be replaced with what you have on yours, when it syncs, so it will only sync with one device, plus any that you state as a guest. It will then know what to sync on your PDA, and what to sync on the guest PDA, You won't get files etc, on the wrong PDA. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav
