How stupid can one person get--please help

Just copy back the backup and tell him to get a bigger SD card or delete some voices...

If you didn't make a backup (!!!) then get his backup off him and do the same.. although in that case you have to admit the TT broke

When you say 'download the HOME programme' I'm assuming you in fact mean install the GO Firmware Update?

If that is the case then simply connect the GO, browse to its memory card and delete the additional voices and POIs (in fact better still simply move them to your PC temporarily).

Then re-run the update. Once it has updated re-instate the voices and POIs.

Sounds like you tried to d/l TT Home onto the card.

This should be downloaded onto the PC....not the SD!!
