I recently downloaded the speed camera database and was annoyed to find that virtually every speed camera had the incorrect speed assigned to it. For example all of the cameras on the A14 between Cambridge and the M6 were denoted as 43 mph and not 70. In the end I had to switch the nav unit off to get rid of the permanent warning tone. Also the speed camera near home was denoted as 25mph - not 40.

Do I have an incorrect setting on my Garmin 350?

Thanks in advance

That are many locations on that stretch of road, but 2 or 3 are 40mph, the remaining locations are 60 or 70mph M or F categories!

I can see all the database on the PC using MapSource and the database .gpx file!

Give me a particular location to check!

I think that it is too much of a coincidence that 25mph is 40kph and that 43mph is 70kph.

I think we have a bit of 'units' confusion. I would double check all the settings on whichever hardware base is used, not just those within the application.

Welcome Welcome to the forum!

It sounds as if you might have either your device or POILoader set to KPH instead of MPH.

From other posts this is usually because you have the POI loader software you use to put the cameras onto the Garmin set to metric (which is the default) rather than imperial. Reload changing the settings and it should be correct.

It sounds like this is an easy enough mistake to make, maybe the install guide should be updated to tell users to check the setting - this one is catching out quite a few people by the sounds of it!

The one for the i3 does mention it

8 ) You can now change the distance & speed to feet and mph if required.

but there don't seem to be detailed guides for other Garmins.
