I am assuming you are talking about the Speed Camera files downloaded from this site when you talk about POIs, in which case they should be a zipped file (they always have been for me when I've downloaded them from here).
If you are talking about other types of POI, you need to make sure that they are all stored in the same file as any other POIs/cameras that you load to your unit, as POI Loader will always overwrite existing data when making a transfer, so all data needs to be transferred in one go. Hence the need to store everything in the same folder prior to transfer. |

edited to add: Also, if you are talking about POIs rather than speed cameras, there are several types of file out there, depending on what type of Sat Nav they are destined for. This means that if you have downloaded POI files intended for a Tom Tom, they will be in a different format than can be used on a Garmin.
If you have POI Edit installed on your computer, it enables you to convert POI files from one format to another. Just open the file in POI Edit, and after clicking 'SAVE AS' select .csv as the type of file you wish to save. |
