Hi, I was wondering if updating my TT via TT home on my PC for camera updates, new S/W revs etc etc, is the same as updating from my phone via a wireless data connection?
Via the PC with TT home seems a lot less hassle if it's the same sort of updates.[/i] _________________ There are 10 types of people who understand binary, those who do, and those who don't. |

Yes, I believe it is the same, although if you are talking about TomTom camera updates, the statics updates are the same but the mobiles are only good for four hours so you need to update those as you drive. _________________ Colin

Hi Colin,
If I'm to update mobile camera positions whilst out and about, will I need a wireless data connection to do so?, ie, my phone? _________________ There are 10 types of people who understand binary, those who do, and those who don't. |

Yes you do. I have a company mobile so not too bothered about costs but I have read on the forum that things can work out expensive so check it out.
Also I have only had one mobile flagged up in the last month. It does depend on other users reporting them. I always do as it is only a two button job if it is on your side of the road.
PS your quote is great. I just happen to be one of the 10 that do _________________ Colin
