Motorway 70 mph wanings

hello
i am a regular happy user of garmin i3 and download all the monthly files in the seperate 24 file format

what is the reason for 70mph warnings coming up on various sections of motorway , particularly the M6 north of preston, when there appears to be nothing visible. is it where road works have been located or where mobile speedchecks are known to frequent?

Most likely that they are mobile speed camera locations, I travel on this route quite a bit and there are a few between Preston and Carslile, probably around 10 IIRC
As the Garmin i3 only alerts you to the presence of a camera if you are speeding I wouldn't go shouting about this too much if you know what I mean 8) Mike
