Loading Favourites

Hi all

I have just brought the new ICN720 here in Australia. I have loaded some of my old favourites again and have noticed that they do not appear on the screen in alphabetical order. Has any one else had the same problem.
Would seem very difficult to find a favourite if you have more than 150 like I had in my older ICN635 unit which did show them in alphabetical order.
If anybody else has had the same problem and has been able to fix this problem I would be very grateful.

Sorry, no luck. My icn750 does the same. It stores the favorites as you enter them. I can only suggest you enter you locations backwards as it shows you the most recent entry first. So start at Z and end with A.

If you have a list of entries mabye you could consider entering them as poi's in the smart st program, then you could search by name. Could be a bit of work though.

Tony, the 720/750 uses a different schema for 'sorting' the Favorites compared to the older Navman devices. It's more a LRU schema (Last Recent Used entry moves up in the list).

Thanks for the reply. I did speak with Navman and they are looking into it. Maybe a software update.
