I hope someone can help with a big problem ive got after upgrading the software on my tt700 via tomtom Home. The tt700 seemed to update ok but when I looked at the screen all that is displayed is the splash screen. I cant turn it off. I cant get windows / tomtom home to recognise the unit any longer so I cant even restore from a back up. Can anyone please advise me what to do and why it happened in the first place.
Thanks in advance John |

Tried the hard reset - paper clip in the bottom hole - (forgot all about that tbh)that did turn the 700 off, turned it back on screen still frozen at splash screen, however I can now link to the 700 from windows so will try and copy the backup I made, then try the upgrade again. Will post again after upgrading.
thanks for reply
