Hi
i bought myself an ipaq 3970 which came with the navman ipaq sleeve have installed ttn2 on it but i cannot get it to find ant sats ...it seems to be looking for them but it never gets a good enough lock onto them i have turned of the beam and downloaded the drivers from navman but still no joy Sad

just put the ipaq in the garden to see if it would find any sats it did but it took it about five mins+ ....what could be causing it

Rob, it sounds like you have the 3000 or 3400 sleeve ? Check out http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3195 as this may help resolve the problem. The older 3000 and 3400/3420 sleeves suffered from processor interference on the iPAQ and this caused it not to lock, a 5 min fix wasn't un-normal, and most received around a 3-5 min fix, or 45 min fix when driving.
