TT5 & 9821X receiver

Hi

Well I have given up on my Ipaq and Navman jacket, I just cant be bothered with the damm thing dropping the gps fix all the time (only happens with Tom Tom 5 software).

Anyway I have been offered an Ipaq (not sure which model but couple years old) which has a Tom Tom 9821X receiver with it for £50. My question is can I put my TT5 software onto this new Ipaq and does the 9821X work with it. Does anyone know of any problems with the software and hardware.

No problem apart maybe from the fact that both the iPAQ and the receiver are old, and are thus likely to go belly up earlier (battery etc).

I can handle that they are old (but probably newer than my Ipaq 3660) and I can get on here and update firmware. I just wanted to know if there were known issues on the GPS dropping satalite locks.

When she comes on line I'll find out what make of Pocket pc it is.
