Looking at a trip to France and with CN V8 running I am limited to the number of maps I can transfer to my Q1 - is there any way of enhancing the memory or is it just a case of choosing carefully which maps to upload?

Nope, you just have to choose carefully.

Try and keep the maps joined up if you can. Double check the route against a paper map - wacky things can happen if you create a route which is half on detailed maps and partly on the basemap.

If you are going to do a big motorway section of the trip then consider leaving those maps out to save space.
