Any kind advice on the best system(s) available with automatic re-routing would be much appreciated. Is there an aftermarket TMC solution for my TTN5 / Ipaq setup - or do I have to buy a whole new system to get TMC?
Many thanks, _________________ frmarcus |

PS: Forgot to say I have TTN5 bluetooth with Ipaq. Can I get a GPS receiver with TMC to replace TomTom's and, if so, would the existing software be sufficient?
Thanks. _________________ frmarcus |

As far as I know the only option available is to use the TomTom traffic service via a mobile phone for your device, the software you have simply will not interface with an external TMC unit - Mike |

Mike: Many thanks. So, it's a best buy standalone system with TMC, then - something like the Sony. I don't want to use TT Traffic as it's subscription-based. Other systems are free for ongoing use. The Sony doesn't use full postcode search, which puts me off a little... _________________ frmarcus |

My guess is that we'll be receiving TMC with the upcoming TT6 on PDAs. TT6 on the x10 devices has TMC, but the antenna is not available yet. |
