Hi johnszs
Sell it and buy something else! . :D
There's plenty out there on the market that blow the Navman away with both sound volume and sound quality.
Mine just had to go, mainly because of that, but there were also a lot of other issues.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water as CeeJay has done. You can plug an external speaker into the output jack on the side of the 510. Powered speakers are quite cheap, there are other posts in this forum discussing what ones people have puchased. |

Hi Ceejay:
I see you are well chuffed with Mio. The company I work for bought 20 268's for the sales and service staff, of those about 5 have failed. Even funnier one took 2 months to get back to us because they could not find our office. Pretty impressive for a sat nav company.
By the way I am partly deaf but I have no problem using an unmodified icn520 with the radio on at a reasonable volume.
