|
|
I have bought the LineX FM Transmitter and i am using it in conjunction with my HP Jornada 568, TomTom Navigator 2 and Brodits passive holder.
When i plug the transmitter in to my Jornada and tune it into a free station i get a constant heart beat like sound that over powers the voice prompts, i have found out that when i put my hand over the front of the Jornada or hold the power cable in my hand that goes into the bottom of the Brodit holder the heart beat sound stops and you can hear the voice prompts clearly.
Has anybody suffered the same problem and if so how can i rectify ?
Many Thanks.

That sounds like the power cable needs to be earthed. |

The TomTom Cable had two wires of which are wired to a spare spur in the fuse box. |
