Map refuses to install

Hi

This is a continuation of earlier posting.

I have now downloaded both the installer & zipped versions of the France Plus map.

Just in case there is a problem with the card, I have tried to install to the hard drive, but both versions refuse to install, with the error message 'Disk Access Problem'. I have also tried on a different computer with the same error message.

I can't believe I'm the only one this problem! I am also trying to get a solution from Tomtom support.

Any one with a solution?

is the sd card set to write protect (little sliding tab on the side of the sd card)

No the SD card isn't locked. The card works perfectly well in the TT1.

The issue for me at the moment is that the map won't even install to the hard drive never mind the SD card.

Hi

The download from Tomtom is an installation program not a folder with the map in.

It's the downloaded setup program from Tomtom that won't even install the map to the hard drive, let alone the Tomtom One.

I have solved the problem.

I installed Tomtom Home on my computer, downloaded the map (again!) via TT Home and installed via TT Home on to the 1GB SD card.

The card is now fully functional.
