Map goes blank at certain zoom levels

I'm using ozi on an ipaq 4150 with a globalsat bluetooth gps. In this instance, viewing a CFS Firemap (works happily in Ozi & OziCE).

I have found that there is a certain area which, if I try and view at zoom levels 25% & 40%, the map goes blank. Track still plots and moves as per normal. If I zoom in to 60% or greater, it's happy. Cross a magical line and it's happy at all levels.

Got me stuffed. Any thoughts??
