hi,newbie to all this
i have got the METRO GUIDE EUROPE V8 DVD,which far as i can see is unlocked.
i am unable to get it to show "live" gps content whilst on the move and wonder what ive done wrong or even if the quest2 is compatable with it.
garmin support stinks and i dont think they give a damm really .
have only had a tt5 on a pda before, and all i had to do was put whatever maps in the right folder on the sd card and off it went.
this quest doesnt make much sense to me and im well lost.
thanks. |

You used to be able to do this in Mapsource but the feature seems to be gone now.
Have you tried using nRoute from Garmin. That may work.
Good luck! _________________ Gone fishing! |

Metroguide does not support 'autorouting' unless you follow extra procedures that require downloading extra software!
I have no knowledge of your unit but I do have knowledge of MetroGuide.
Garmin would hardly be helpful re MetroGuide as they expect you to pay for CityNavigator with 'unlock' codes! |

,thanks fro replys.
ok,so what is metroguide for,is it simply for the pc,make a route and transfer to quest2?.
seems a bit pointless and also bit of a ripoff to me.
i also have infotech mapping on a fujitsu tablet pc which does absolutely everything you can do with a map, plus its updateable for free.trouble is the fuji isnt any good for motorcycle use at all.
thanks for help
ps,what extras do i need to download to make autorouting a possibility?. |
