Ive registered at www.poihandler.com isit? and also using the POI-Sync with the POI's from GPSPW and some of them dont seem to show up on my TomTom 700 when i copy the .ov2 and .bmp files accross to it.
like the Tesco/Sainsbury's i think were some that didnt show in my Enable/Disable POI's option, they were not there, why is that? |

It has been reported that the limit is being lifted to 100 in Version 6. We'll have to wait and see. _________________ Richard

It's hard to second guess TT, but the last year the software upgrade was free, but the Map Upgrade was charged for.
Bit like forecasting the weather, you can only go on past experience.;) _________________ Richard

|
|
I have tom tom 5 on a HP ipaq 1490. I download poi's from gpsworld and poihandler, using poi edit and poi warner. I have successfully downloaded pois but Some of the poi's dont show in tom tom although they are on the storage card. Can you tell me the limit for number of poi's in tom tom 5?
Also how can i delete poi's that came with tom tom? |

The limit of Custom POI Categories is 39.
Deleting the built-in POI's makes no difference to the number of Custom POI's allowed, but for reference they are stored in POI.dat. _________________ Richard
