|
|
Hi all,
I have a iPAQ 6340 and a Kkia LD-3W GPS (bluetooth) receiver.
I used to use Tom Tom Navigator 3 and Viamichelin 3.1 and everything worked ok.
Altough i've installed Tom Tom Navigator 5 and I can't manage Tom Tom to find the GPS receiver.
- In the Bluetooth manager the connection is ok. The iPAQ still finds and connect to the GPS receiver.
- The devices are paired and ok.
- I can't change the ports in the iPAQ. Inbound is COM 4 and Outbound is COM 7
- When I try to connect the GPS inside Tom Tom Navigator I select "Other Bluetooth GPS" and then "Bluetooth Serial Port COM7:"
Tom Tom keeps saying that no GPS was found.
I've removed all other Navigation Software (Tom Tom Nav. 3 and Viamichelin) know, but first I keeped Viamichelin and everything was working with this software.
I've installed Viamichelin again and it still works, but tom tom nav. 5 still don't find de GPS Receiver.
Can anyone help me?
PS Sorry my english!! |

I've figured now that i've misspeled the GPS Brand:
It is a NOKIA LD-3W. |

Try "other NMEA" rather than other Bluetooth. That is what I needed to do with my Ipaq 6340 to get it to find the bluetooth receiver - its all down to Dutch logic I am told. you may have to experiment with the Com Port numbers and the BAUD rate but should work _________________ Peter
