BT GPS problem with HX2410

Hi,

I am completely screwd up with my PDA navigation system. I have been using it since one year (Tomtom 3) when I got a hard reset. Since what ever I try tomtom doesn't communicate with the BT GPS.
What I have done:

-GPS tested separately:ok
-PDA BT connection ok with GPS
-several soft resets
-several hard resets
-several re-installations and removals
-tried tomtom 5 same problem
-all updates, bios refresh,...

I have two error messages when installing. The first is that the installed software is an earlier version then the OS. the other is saying that BTcoreif.dll is in use or in the ROM. here I have to say no to continue. finally when I want to set in the GPS connection I can not select com 8. It is not offered in the roll down list. so I select com 5 and it is not working of course. Crying or Very sad

Could somebody help me on this?

Are you planning to use TomTom 3 or TomTom 5? Are either of these legit copies?

You can do a hard reset, and then extract the program files from the CAB (avoiding the BT problem) but we can only help you further if all is legal.
