C710 Camera Update

Mio seem to have changed their camera updates.
The camera file in my unit out-of-the-box, and also on the backup CD, had 16,259 records of cameras across Europe including the UK.
I did a camera sync with their server yesterday and the new file is entirely different. It is now UK only and has 9852 records. Presumably they are detecting your country by your IP address.
The new file is certainly more up to date and has cameras that the old one didn't have. But there are still some missing, and unfortunately it has duplicates - in several places on or near the South Circular in London there are two cameras shown instead of one. The correct one has the speed limit shown as 30, and the second is a few metres away and has no speed limit. The same thing might happen elsewhere but I haven't checked yet.

The new camera update seems a mess. Some examples of duplication:
Wareham - N50.68295 W2.17668
S London - N51.42953 W0.08823
N51.43944 W0.09961
N51.44269 W0.07666
In each case these duplicate locations have no speed limit shown. I am sure there will be others!

I strongly suspect that someone has tried updating the database by importing a new list, but hasn't properly checked that the new sites duplicate old ones.

IMO this makes it even more important to be able to replace the Mio list with the PGPSW one.
