|
|
Hi all.
Will be doing some driving in Spain next month, and I'd like to use my PDA with Tomtom and the PGPSW Europe cam database. What's the deal with using a speed cam database in Spain? Am I likely to get grief from the Spanish rozzers if I get pulled and they notice a GPS with a camera database stuck to my windscreen? Or are they OK with it?
Cheers. |

I am sure that this has been mentioned in another post - maybe about cameras in France or Germany - suggest you try searching with those wrod(s) and see if anything comes up. _________________ Peter

Andy,
try www.alertegps.com for spanish or french speed cams. Click on French or Spanish flags at top of screen. (might be down for maintenance tonight, was working yesterday!)
Click on telechargement and select your sat nav from the drop down list. Click on OK
Click on Telecharger le fichier in middle of screen to download the zip file with BMP's and OV2's (Tom Tom), other platforms will have different files.
You should have 4 types of camera (Fixed, Mobile, Redlight etc) Copy them into your map folder! (though not sure if this site actually has mobile cameras for Spain yet - more France at moment but certainly redlight and fixed. Same set of files covers both countries.)
Ola!
