Copying POI's to another Tomtom ???

Hi and thanks in advance.

I have a Nokia 6600 with Tomtom 5 installed.

I have been to a few locations and saved the places as POI's.

My sister is about to buy a tomtom Go 300 - or a Tomtom One.

Is there any way that I can transfer the Poi's from my phone to her Tomtom?

I know I can zoom in on them both and then do it that way, but is there a quicker way?

Hi droflas,

Can you connect your Nokia 6600 to a PC via either Bluetooth or USB cable? If you can then search the folder where the map data is for the following files:

My_Poi_File.ov2
My_Poi_File.bmp

Copy them to a PC.

When your sister gets a TomTom GO/ONE, connect her unit to the PC with the supplied USB cable and copy your above saved files to the map folder on your sister’s unit.

That is just the answer I was hoping for.

It will save me a lot of time zooming in and out of each Tomtom as that was the only way I could think of doing it.
