Signal around Swindon varies a little with the location and which Garmin traffic unit you have.
I've no idea where gpys lane is so be able to comment on it, although unless the road is a primary route and monitored by Trafficmaster sensors, then no. |

hi paul.i've used the tmc around swindon with no problems..even had a strong signal in west swindon in my dining room using my pc as a power source.. .obviously there will be areas where you wont get a signal but the tmc soon kicks back in when the signals caught again... i've never seen gypsy lane on the screen cos i think it only does motorways , 'a' roads and main 'b' roads .... _________________ *************************** |

Having done some checking, no Gipsy Lane is not covered by traffic. |

Dil... |
hi dil, i got fed up with having to open the patch antenna from the back of the nuvi to be able to stick it on the bracket , a trivial thing i know but in a moment of madness i took it back to halfords for a refund.... i then looked at the tomtom one v2 which really is a very nice sat nav with no protruding antenna ...ordered one from currys for £160 delivered and i should get it early next week.....how long this gps will last is anyone's guess.. :D _________________ *************************** |

swing, gypsy lane is a very minor through route in central swindon which does get very busy at times.. _________________ *************************** |

As I said before, it's not covered. |
